Modular designed system for electrolytic generation of high-quality, low-concentration sodium hypochlorite. Wiring and pipes are pre-installed and the system is function tested ex-works. Only salt (sodium chloride), water and electrical power are required for proper operation. Salt is inexpensive, safe to handle and store. No special safety room requirements apply. The robust design of the system requires low maintenance and ensures long operating times. Control of the systems is done via a user-friendly digital display with system information in different languages.

The vertical position of the electrolyser cell, the dual containment for electrolyser chamber and vent pipes with forced airflow ensure safe operation. Brine and product tanks with automatic level control are optional accessories.

Housed in sealed chamber with constant airflow. Clear PVC tubular electrode casing for ease of viewing whilst in operation. Electrodes are made of expanded titanium substrate with extra heavy proprietary catalytic metal oxide coating for cold water application (above 5 °C). Hydrogen degassing column to allow the release of hydrogen to the exterior vent, preventing its passage into the product storage tank. Incorporating sensor to inhibit production in the unlikely event of blockage and fully-dual contained pipes leading to the exterior vent. Hydraulic chamber:
Positive-displacement brine pump to allow for wide range of adjustment possibilities of accurately reproducible brine flow rates. Flowmeter fitted with water flow switch to operate in fail-safe mode to stop the process if flow is below a minimum acceptable level. Adjustable water control valve to set accurately reproducible dilution ratio. Operating water pressure-reducing valve with gauge and stainless steel strainer. Kinetico water softening system, water operated, rated for continuous soft water output, designed to reduce water hardness to below 20 mg/l as CaCO3. Soft water sample valve. Brine salinity test valve. Product test valve.

Operating panel:
Lockable plastic enclosure, IP54, fitted with door interlocked isolator and air-cooling. Display interface showing operating status plus amps, volts, operating hours and cell temperature. Tank top-up, manual and remote inhibit facilities. Fault displays: High amps, Low amps, High cell temperature, Bund flood, High panel temperature, Ventilation failure, Water flow failure.
